Youth Mobility for Africa Flagship Initiative

Professor Kenneth Matengu, in his dual roles as the President of the Pan-African University Council and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Namibia, recently signed an agreement facilitating access to EUR 970 million in funding for African universities. This funding, available through competitive bidding, supports projects including the Erasmus and Intra-Africa mobility schemes.

This initiative is designed to foster learning mobility within Africa and between Africa and the EU, enhance cooperation in higher education, promote skill development, and position Africa as an attractive study destination.
