Students and Staff at the Rundu Campus recently received health checks from the General Nursing Department in the School of Nursing during their Health Awareness Day.
“Long queues could be seen all over campus as people eagerly waited to have themselves examined for free”, remarked Ms. Sophia Alfred, the Marketing and Communication Officer at Rundu Campus.
She further explained that the day was meant to make the Rundu Campus community aware of their health needs, as well as to allow interaction with the General Nursing Department and the work that they do.
Examinations included blood pressure, sugar levels, body mass index, and family planning methods.
